 Today I'll introduce "Next Door to Love", the level 1 book in CAMBRIDGE English Readers.   Tony is Stella's new neighbor. Her friend Janet looks him and recommends her to talk to him. Janet thinks that Stella need to meet new men, but Stella doesn't want a boyfriend because her last boyfriend didn't make her happy. One day, Tony is out in his garden.  In the garden, there are lots of flowers but he looks unhappy. Stella wants to know why he is sad. So she goes to his house but she doesn't know what to say. Next weekend, she meets a little girl at Tony's garden. She is his daughter Daisy. He has a daughter but he doesn't see her very often because he and her mother aren't together. Stella thinks that's why he is sad. Gradually, Stella and Tony come to want to know about each other. And they love each other. But, one day, Daisy's mother decides to move to Scotland with Daisy and new husband. So Tony will not be able to see her. Stella

'I said don't do anything stupid!'  Today I'll introduce BLOOD DIAMONDS, a level 1 book in CAMBRIDGE English Readers.  Harley Kirkpatrick and Annie Shepherd are the journalist of Daily Post. They write the story about the blood diamonds. Diamonds are important for countries in Africa. Diamonds buy food and doctors and they give people work and help them get money. But in some countries people buy guns with the diamonds. It is called 'blood diamonds' because many people die from guns. Shepherd finds a man who sell blood diamonds. He is Erik Van Delft. Kirkpatrick is going to Delft to search about blood diamonds in detail. But they get involved some accidents... I thought that Kirkpatrick is so stupid.
