Red Water

 Today I'm going to introduce 'Red Water' in Helbling Readers.  In this book, two things happen at the same time in the different parts of the world. The first thing is a terrible incident in Africa happen to one man who has a wife and children. On the other hand, in England, the second thing happens during a presentation of one girl, Tricia in the geography class.  You think these two things are not related, don't you?   If you are interested in the relation of them, please read it and find it! However, frankly speaking, this book is long and difficult for me to read, so I didn't recommend it to you😅

The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me

 In this week, I read The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me in A PUFFIN BOOK series. This is written by Ronald Dahl. He is famous for the movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I had read his novel in Japanese when I was a child, so I was glad to find his novel in the library and decided to read his story in this week to remember my childhood ☺️  The characters of this story are a giraffe, a pelican, a monkey, and one human boy, Billy. There animals found a window-cleaning company by taking advantage of each characteristic to earn money. Billy meets them and comes to work at the company as their manager. One day, they give a job to clean a very big house which has 677 windows. This is the big chance for them!  In the end, I want to introduce my favorite scene of this book. ‘The Monkey stood on the window-sill and did a jiggly little dance. He was so skinny he seemed to be made only out of furry bits of wire, but he danced wonderfully well, and I clapped and cheered and did a little da
